Skyway’s latest investment in the East Village market embraced the DNA of an old-world Manhattan townhouse and the grandeur of the Newport mansions to deliver an overwhelmingly-stunning renaissance of urban living at 49 East 7th Street.
In creating a vision for Townhouse 49, Skyway leveraged the benefits of the building’s high ceilings, triple exposures, and irregular floor patterns that channel the sophistication of a classically-styled townhome. Here, richly stained solid oak floors, custom cabinetry and a full suite of stainless-steel appliances from Bosch deliver a sense of grandeur that juxtaposes brilliantly with the surrounding village neighborhood.
Although a rental property, Skyway spared no expense in selecting the finishes, which include Restoration Hardware light fixtures and bathroom vanities. The marble bathrooms are appointed with a similarly uncompromising attention to quality, featuring basket-weave mosaics, soaking tubs and oversize showers. Skyway added an additional floor to the existing building as part of this mint renovation, consistent with the company’s goal to maximize potential in their endeavors.
The company’s innovative and pioneering attitude toward this project resulted in bringing an exceptional product to market, and redefining the standard for luxury living in the East Village.
